1. Overview

SpicyScout respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content displayed on our site infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.

2. Important Clarification

SpicyScout is a directory and discovery platform. We do not host, store, or distribute any explicit media, images, or videos created by third parties. The creator profile listings on our site contain publicly available names, profile descriptions, and links to external platforms. If your copyrighted content is being hosted on an external platform, you should direct your DMCA notice to that platform directly.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that a listing on SpicyScout infringes your copyright, please send a written notice that includes all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The specific URL or location on SpicyScout where the allegedly infringing material is found
  • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

4. Where to Send Notices

Please submit your DMCA takedown notice to us via the email address listed on our Contact page. Include "DMCA Takedown Notice" in the subject line so we can process your request promptly.

5. Processing of Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will review the claim and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the referenced listing. We aim to process valid notices as quickly as possible. Please note that incomplete or improperly formatted notices may result in delays.

6. Counter Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notification. Your counter notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your full name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice

7. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, SpicyScout maintains a policy of terminating or restricting access to listings associated with repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.

8. Good Faith

Please be aware that filing a false DMCA notice may result in legal liability. Before submitting a takedown notice, please consider whether the use of the material in question is protected by fair use or other legal doctrines. We encourage copyright owners to consult with a legal professional before filing a notice.
